Even fewer students arrive to school this day due to the mysterious illness that is spreading and the shooting the night before.

They head home and pass a scene that looks like a traffic jam.

Madison and Travis go to the house of Calvin Jasper, a friend of Nick's, whom they inform of Nick and politely offers his help in helping them.

Nick escapes the hospital in different clothes and contacts his dealer before hiding under a bridge.
